We envision a future in which every young person enters adulthood informed, empowered, engaged, and equipped with the knowledge and confidence to shape their communities and sustain our democracy.
Our goal is to educate and empower Greater Cincinnati high school students by providing accessible civic education, real-world engagement opportunities, and options for registering to vote, ensuring they graduate prepared to participate in our democracy.

GCVC is a nonpartisan collaborative, and partner organizations are also nonpartisan.
These programs are appropriate for students in grades 9 through 12; voter registration and election-related activities are available only for students of certain ages.
Each opportunity is different, and you will have the option to discuss your specific needs when contacted by the representative(s) of the opportunities you select.
Some take place in the classroom, and some are out-of-classroom experiences. See each individual listing for more information.
There are no fees associated with any of these opportunities, but there may be incidental costs associated with transportation, etc.

Your school’s policies surrounding out-of-school activities will apply in relation to those specific programs.
