CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A record number of people are voting early in this year’s election but some people have a tough time getting to their voting locations. A local nonpartisan group is helping voters by offering free rides.
CINCINNATI (FOX19) – A local organization is offering rides to the polls on election day.
The Greater Cincinnati Voter Collaborative (GCVC) is a non-partisan organization that says they work on voter engagement and advocacy.
One of the ways they say they can do that is to provide rides to the polls for those who need it.
The Know Theatre of Cincinnati’s latest performance will be making its way across the Queen City in the back of a pickup truck.
After opening the season digitally, “Fannie Lou Hamer, Speak On It” will be an outdoor, in-person theatrical experience that will visit parking lots in Price Hill, Downtown, Over-the-Rhine, Covington and more around the Greater Cincinnati area.
The League of Women Voters of Kentucky announces the formation of a local league in the Northern Kentucky region.
The League of Women Voters of Northern Kentucky joins the more than 700 local leagues throughout the country, including five in Kentucky: Bell County, Hopkinsville, Lexington, Louisville, and Murray.
This election season the Library is proudly partnering with the two nonpartisan groups, the brand-new Greater Cincinnati Voter Collaborative and the Ohio Voting Rights Coalition, opens a new window, to connect voters in our community to consistent and accurate voters’ rights education and information.
The rhetoric and fears about the election are high and getting higher every day. As members of the Greater Cincinnati Voter Collaborative, let us stay calm and encourage people to vote. “We know how to do this; we hold elections every year. Make your decisions and cast your ballot.” Let us demonstrate confidence in the election system.
